George And Dragon

We decided to go out for our tea we went to to Tirril but couldn’t get a table so we came back home and walked to our local,  if we had got a table at Tirril we would of only had a main course and a drink.

We ended up all having starters me and Hannah had the soufflé which is delicious, hubby had soup .
I had the fish pie for my main I have an allergy to prawns and it’s not often you get a fish pie without prawns so I was happy when the lady said no prawns. It also was delicious. Hubby and Hannah had the burger which was huge.
Me and Hannah shared a bottle of wine hubby had his pints of ales.
We were all stuffed couldn’t fit in  a dessert.

The George and Dragon in our village is award -winning food home grown produce all from the Lowther family farms and gardens , definitely worth a visit if your in the area.
