Look, But Don't Touch!

Unless you are a Crab Spider which is evidently not bothered by the stinging nettles or the substance they leave on a person's skin that will give you a painful burning rash.  This Bull Nettle looked prettier yesterday, but it isn't the spider's fault.  The spider helps the plants and flowers it crawls on by eating harmful insects and bugs.  No, the heat and lack of rain are the villains here, though I see promise in the buds that are yet left to open.  Oh, did I mention the pareidolia?  Do you see the poodle on my Flower Friday entry?  Thanks to Biker Bear for hosting........
