Off the wall...

is the best place to catch flatties.. today for the first time in years a Plaice was caught.. it weighs in at a respectable 12 oz (thats 340gms to those who work in grams!!) and then spinning off the rocks got me this lovely 120z mackerel as well. Hurrah.. and thank goodness the gloomy man wasn't out there today!!

Update - having blipped the catch for the day I cast the line out one more time on the falling tide and completely forgot it!!! When I remembered it the tide had left part of the beach dry and my line was covered in weed.. down i went and to my amazement there was the biggest fish I have caught here ever!!! So I have put a picture here

Dreary weatherwise today.. raining now.. hope the sun shines tomorrow for the visit to the Fringe..
