Dolphins, fin whales, porpoises...

I went whale watching in a small boat .What truly wondrous beasts whales are.We tracked 3 fin whales as they surfaced every 7 or 8 minutes with a massive fountain of water. No . I didn't even attempt to blip them. i was too absorbed in watching them and thought i might miss something if I dithered about with zooms and view finders. Check out CarolineL 's blipfolio for some brilliant shots. This one is a mere bottle-nosed dolphin streaking along in front of the boat. I saw manx shesrwaters, sooty shearwaters, gannets, fulmars and so much more.
