Chockablock
We met a couple of friends for lunch at Emsworth marina today. One I met at the allotment seven years ago when I got my first plot. She popped over to chat to me and offered me a cup of tea. As we sat and talked, we realised I had recently started attending her partner’s yoga classes. Seven years later we still meet at the allotment and I still attend Trevor’s yoga classes.
We had a good long chat over lunch and only broke off when we realised we needed to leave to return to Merlin who had been patiently waiting for us at home.
And so the day has slipped by with dogs walks, lunch and a quick trip to the allotment to pick more raspberries and marvel at the greenness that is already visible in the plants after yesterday’s rain. Andy made a crumble with the last lot of raspberries I brought home and I’m hoping he might do the same with these ones.
My blip shows the marina which is particularly busy with boats and people at this time of year.
