The director's work is done

Florence completed her course at the Film Academy today. Along with the other 'parents', this afternoon we attended the première of the films that Florence and her colleagues made this week. Their work is very impressive, especially considering the age of the participants - the youngest teams comprised 9-12 year-olds - and the short amount of time that they have had to create their outputs. I have blipped Florence in the reception of Edinburgh College with her course certificate.

This morning I exercised and caught up with my gym friends.

This evening Jon joined us for supper. Then he, Mr hazelh, and I walked down to Leith for an Uncle Jack's Band gig. We didn't stay long because (a) we didn't want to leave our guest all alone in our flat for too long on her last night with us and (b) I am really tired after a busy week with little sleep.

Exercise today: 1 hour on the exercise bike; pilates class; swim (60 lengths); walking (21,640 steps).
