Beside the Charente at Taillebourg. Aug 1st

We went out for lunch to a restaurant on the banks of the river. It’s only average, but you can’t get much closer to the river without falling in! There’s always lots of interesting birds, and boats going past.
It’s also very child friendly, so was a good place to go for the last day. From there we went to the brocante which was further than we thought, and home for some pool time.
This is actually Aug 1st entry, for some reason when I uploaded yesterday’s entry this morning I didn’t notice that it was the wrong day, so now I can’t seem to move it back a day, so they’ll have to be the wrong way round! That will teach me for being late with my blip!
