Truly Blippin' Marvelous

By JohnEdward

Be kind

but German children will always be kinder . . . this play on words only works orthographically because of the difference in pronunciation.

God be in my head and in my understanding.
God be in mine eyes and in my looking.
God be in my mouth and in my speaking.
God be in my heart and in my thinking.
God be at mine end and in my departing.

(From the Sarum Primer, 1545)

These words from the Sarum Primer have been on my mind lately and I always hear the Walford Davies setting because that's the music I learned as a choir boy - we sung it at a wedding.

LR wasn't playing nicely hence the back blip.
