Culross

Decided to have a wee trip to somewhere that we haven’t been to for many years, Culross.

The last time we were here was with Tats and Ken , from Rome and she left her sunglasses in a drawer at the table we were sitting at in the Biscuit Cafe.

It’s a very popular place due to it being very old well preserved village but also Puander filmed quite a few scenes here. It is very pretty.

We walked along the coastal path and then had a coffee and cake in a lovely new Cafe called the Mercat, yes at the Mercat Cross. Very nice coffee and fresh baking.

They also had a little shop selling nice stuff!

We walked up the hill where this pic was taken and looked down on the palace and gardens which are owned by the National Trust. It was a warm day although the sky looks white here it wasn’t it was blue!

We drove home via Dunfermline.

Sat in the garden for a cuppa but then was too hot. S went for a paddle and I armed myself with more facts to organise a new mobile phone contract (sim only) as was out of contract with old one. I got a good deal with Tesco mobile (they use 02) for 13 quid a month, unlimited texts and phone calls and 60gb and also free EU roaming. My current one didn’t have that !

Happy with this a saving of £14 a month and EU roaming free is v good.

A walk later and down to see the gang back from hols and hear all the chat.
