Hanging around

Last day of July already! Where has the year gone?!

Had a lovely walk .... fairly cloudy but the sun did peep out occasionally!

We saw several of these Migrant Hawker dragonflies swooping about .... then this one stopped for a brief rest ..... blip sorted!

There were also Common Darters flitting about & Emerald Damselflies .... several butterflies too.

We saw a Chiffchaff & heared a Yellowhammer but couldn't see it .... maybe we'll get lucky another day.
