Ambleside Sports

Ambleside Sports has been an annual event with a few interruptions since 1886. Fell, track, cycling, wrestling, hounds. A fantastic setting in Rydal with the hills all around, a superb day out.
I bought a new lens a 75mm f/1.2 Sirui "Sniper", ,mainly with the idea for using it for street photography but wanted to try it out. 
I took shots of all sports during the day but narrowed them down to seven 2 star shots in lightroom. 
This shot of the cycling was one of them , the expression on the leaders face edged the selection.
