River lily

Today was a Margot minding day but I got my leave pass to attend a once every couple of months or so meeting with some other retired Ed Dept workers.

I got home at 5pm. The light was fading and the rain persisted but not teeming. Only yesterday this bloom came right out in the sun. This afternoon it's back to being a bud, and a drippy one at that.
