Ronnie Scott's night in Farnham

My wife and I went to Farnham Maltings this evening with our friends, Ian and Cathleen, to see the Ronnie Scott's All-stars fronted by the superb vocalist, Natalie Williams. It was a great show telling the chequered history of Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club in Soho,  accompanied by great anecdotes and brilliant renditions of tracks and songs performed there over the years by renown jazz stars. I've been to Ronnie Scott's three times. It is an intimate and atmospheric venue, where the artists can't help but perform at their best - and the food is pretty good although,  as we were told this evening, that hasn't always been the case! So, I'll be scanning the club's website to see who's coming on as I certainly feel it's time for another visit.
