What A Lovely Day

Sometimes Blipmeets are big events drawing in anyone who's free, sometimes they are just a meeting of a couple of folk who like to meet up. Today was one of the latter. We met up with a couple who have seen me through one of the worst days - and kept in touch afterwards with support. I do love them x.

So today we faced the delays on our short trip to the M6 due to Kendal Calling, a pop concert at Lowther. Once on the motorway we made good time. I hadn't been to Levens Hall since I was in the sixth form some 55 years ago.

I really loved it and felt inspired by some of their planting schemes. And so pleased to get my first shot of a brimstone butterfly, they don't come as far as where we live. See Extra if you have time.

When we got back we had to pack for an adventure tomorrow, No jelly babies today. I needed to blip Levens.

I was really pleased how many blippers want to come to see the Bud & Bloom exhibition at Rheged. We should get together!
