Garden visitor

Today, my blip was going to be a picture of the rain (see extra), as it was all about the rain. We had over 20 mm of rain today, which I think is more than any day since January this year. Overall this month, we’ve had 81 mm of rain over 11 days—that’s the most since January. I’m sure the garden is pleased to be getting the rain, and hopefully the grass will improve even more over the coming days.

However, my blip is not the rain, as I spotted a hummingbird hawk-moth darting around the garden (between the raindrops) all day. This evening, I managed to go out and get a photo of it.

We’ve had the details for the house through and checked that everything is okay. Hopefully, the house will go live in the coming days—then we’ll see what happens.
