Ready for the women’s Rugby World cup

This is a postbox topper being made ready to put on a postbox quite near Twickenham Stadium . They are doing several in different designs and all will have numbers on their back and a rugby ball. The  women’s World Rugby tournament is opening soon and the final will be played at Twickenham in September. A group of ladies who call themselves the Whitton Woollies have been making lots of decorations for lamp posts, bunting for shops etc. I heard about them in a local newsletter and went along today to help. Lots of people have been making crochet roses …I sewed some onto some net…these are going to be tied around lampposts. See extra.

Also got the house ready today for friends who are arriving tomorrow.

We had a couple of big downpours so no need to water today.
