View From The Third Floor

I went in to Cambridge this morning for my hearing test. When I got there, I was told that it was last Monday morning! As I did not make the appointment until after that time, they were clearly wrong. They admitted that they had not sent a confirmation email, telephoned for my pre appointment questions or sent a remainder email the day before. As I made the appointment after the time they stated the appointment was for, it would have been impossible to do so. Another AI mess up. They had no appointments available today or tomorrow, but I could have any time I liked on Saturday. So far I have not received an email confirmation for Saturday’s appointment. If I do not receive a reminder email or a telephone call I might decide not to attend at all.
 
I took a raincoat and a cardigan, as dictated by the weather forecast. It was extremely hot and it did not rain.
