Streptocarpus

My indoor streptocarpus plants have been suffering with greenfly recently.. so when I found a ladybird crawling around on the carpet (at high speed) I gathered it up and introduced it to a stem covered in greenfly.. and it took no time at all to locate the first one and devour it.. go ladybird go!  There are so many everywhere this year but many of them are sitting very still on stones. I wonder if they are getting hungry.. perhaps I will relocate a few from outside doing nothing onto my plants.. might work!
A lovely friend dropped by today and we had a fabulous catch up.. she has had a two week hot break in Cyprus and looks FAR too healthy and brown!!  We are hatching a plan to take a table at a Christmas fair together.. lets see how that works out.. she makes things in clay and I paint. . so could be a nice team effort making Christmas presents to sell. I will start investigating costs etc.. and see if it is practical.
