Choose Joy

I have no idea why the leaves are blue

I went to my amazing eye doctor today. My eyes, my eyes. After the accident I needed to see the eye doctor four times a year and get four different pairs of glasses each time because my brain could not handle even a little variance and my vision was changing a lot as I recovered. As of a year or so ago, my eyes barely change one year from the next and this year I won’t even be changing lenses because the prescription is nearly identical. In fact, it sounds like my eyes are even better than they were last year because a wee bit of inflammation is gone and some of the astigmatism is fixed so yay me.

I still need to have different glasses for every focal length, but hey, I can see.

Today I wrote stuff for a proposal we are bidding with another company on. Now, that company found out what price range the client is looking for and we are way, way above it. We’re bidding anyway. They could be wrong. At minimum it gets the client familiar with our name.

And despite the heat (94 degrees F or 34.4 C) I went for a walk - until the mosquitoes came after me but it meant I got a few minutes in.
