Crafty day…

.. but at home!
The train has been cancelled for the whole week, with replacement buses.
Not really a problem.. but this morning I just couldn’t find the energy or maybe more desire to trudge over to the other side of the city.. everything felt just all too much.
Instead Vic took me over to Chase Water to a place called Saxon Hill Barn.
It’s a place run by a school selling reclaimed craft supplies!
I came back with paper galore as I want to make a few more journals from books that would otherwise be sent to landfill or discarded.
A wander round the garden early evening, trying to hold on to
summer freshness, which is slipping away…
