Winspit Quarry

Another lovely walk this morning down to the disused quarries at Winspit. Huge caverns with the ceilings just propped up with columns of Purbeck stone and full of huge ammonite fossils.
The more you look, the more you can see faces in the rocks.
On the way back to the car we popped into the Square and Compass for beer and pasties- nom nom nom .......
Kate is arriving on the train this evening and we are so looking forward to seeing her.
