Odd Man Out

Dear O'H dear and Lovely Tea Jenny,

The Youngest Mini Princess and I went for a walk in the Hermitage today and Murphy went bounding over…to a cat on a lead!

“Uh-oh” sprang to mind.

The poor cat arched its back but Murphy just had a sniff and came back when I called him, nice and calm. No barking or chasing.

We hurried off. That kind of good behaviour has a limited shelf life and there was no way I was going to risk it expiring.

Maybe Murphy was confused and he thought it was a small dog who’d done loads of yoga and was really flexible!
