Tunnel Graffiti

A couple of years ago, the tunnel at Wigan North Western Railway Station was ‘decorated’ to brighten it up.
A local artist was commissioned and produced an A to Z of local phrases and sayings in ‘Wiganese’.
I called today to see another new display of local b/w photos on the corridors, and was pleased to see the tunnel still decorated.
Here, I’m showing E, F and G, locally ‘eee’ which precedes exclamations, ‘fur klempt’ which means very hungry, and ‘gerrumonside’ which is a rugby league call for ‘offside’!
