Working with the Wombats

A big day!  I have been out filming with Wombat Media * at three holy wells around Bantry for they are making a short documentary featuring myself and three Lady's Wells.  At the first well (in the main) the fog came down, the wind got up and my hair went mad! I am pretty sure I looked like a wild woman for the rest of the day.  Dave and Ciara both very easy to work with and not too many takes required but around 3pm the brain collapsed and I couldn't remember what I'd said, what I had to say or what I was meant to be doing! They are going to have to be pretty speedy for the end result is going to be shown in Bantry Library on the 20th August, as part of Heritage Week! 

* The name was explained as Dave is originally from Melbourne - Jensphotos, I introduced him to the Aussie BVM who is still looking good!  I couldn't find the koala though. 

A large glass of Prosecco has been enjoyed and collapse is imminent. 

And the well is certainly old for Wide Wednesday - the promontory fort in front is probably over 2000 years old and the well may have been here long before.
