Bingo!
We didn't have a car when I was growing up but on the odd occasion when I went on a long journey in an uncle or friend's dad's car, I used to keep myself amused by trying to spot car number plates in numerical order starting from '1'. I don't think I ever got much higher than about 35. Now that the numbers on car number plates relate to the year of registration it would be nigh on impossible to do nowadays, but I've occasionally thought it would make a good photo series, photographing numbers in order wherever I might see them; cars, bridges, road signs, anywhere that had a number. I don't think this one would be much use for a blip series though; if I started from '1' today and did them consecutively I wouldn't be able to use this shot until 13th October 340038. I'd like to think Blip will still be going in 338,000 years though.
We were passing All Saints church in Helhoughton this morning and it looked interesting enough to stop and take a look. Fairly plain inside but attractive nonetheless; this was the box holding the numbers to be used on the board showing the hymns for the day. Apparently parts of it date back to the 12th and 14th centuries but a major rebuild in 1790 changed the appearance considerably and left a mixture of mediaeval and Georgian styles. It was the low, stubby tower which made us stop for a look; I've added an extra of the outside of the church from the road.
