Santa Catalina

Looking down on Santa Catalina and Hermigua nearing the end of a hot, stunningly beautiful 20 kilometres.

We had a lovely swim in the sea pool (extras) which the signs tell you is ultra dangerous but the presence of the locals suggest otherwise. I’m a terrible rule breaker but I made this an exception. The sea was fantastic and crystal clear. The sea pool is at the site of a former pier head for the loading of bananas onto to vessels. It was wrecked in a storm in 1954, apparently!
