Maize Silks

There is a lot of maize growing around here and the silks on the ends of the corn ears are turning a fabulous shade of red. The ears / cobs are developing nicely too. I remembered to post it today as well :-)

Stopped to photograph this little group on my walk this morning. Another early start (07:00) and 4.2 miles!

Food shopping was done later - I got lots of ‘healthy’ stuff (beer, sausages, chips, chocolate) as Mrs madwill is going away for a few days from Friday. She is off to the NEC for the quilt show and then down to Bedford to see her mum who has just got home after ten days in hospital.
