Colours
Arlo and I headed for our afternoon walk from Crichton to Vogrie this afternoon, that is, after I got to the bottom of the track and the tyre low pressure light came on, I could see a nail at the edge... that's the 5th since the new tyres last year! So Mrs C drove down, we swapped cars so we could proceed and she drove to the local tyre fixer who did fix it, but being so close to the edge, we should replace it soon...
Anyway, it was warm on our walk, the ferns I cleared last time still allow us to walk through, we stopped by Vogrie House to sit and watch the goings on and noticed these red crocosmia... never seen red... our orange ones are beginning to come out and I love them... but I just read you're not supposed to plant them in the wild, it's illegal... wowsers!
On return we continued with preparing for the tree cutters coming on Thursday, stripping branches we've already taken down to get some logs for our fire... we also took some of Betty's (the fir tree) branches down to give some more height below her. She's our annual chistmas tree so trying to save her looks.
