Scraping off peeling paint

This house was built in 1903 and for the first few decades there was a bakery on the ground floor. It has been in need of refurbishment for some time now and the roof was replaced a few years ago. When I got home yesterday I noticed someone had started to scrape off the loose paint from the old timber-cladding and hopefully it will soon be repainted. 

The day has been busy with errands and admin and all these little things one has to take care of after more than 3 weeks away from home.
