We had such a lovely walk at Crummock Water this morning.  It was pure bliss and so tranquil.  I was expecting rain as per the forecast but just got the odd little bit of drizzle, barely noticeable.  Of course Tess enjoyed the water as usual and I met some lovely people to chat to as I often do.  I've changed my mind so many times as to what to blip so just doing it now quickly before I change my mind yet again.  So here is Tess looking up at a pebble being thrown into the water for her to chase.  Postcard in extras ... and have included a photo of some ducks I spotted on the matting over the weir.  The matting is there to help eels move freely over the weir apparently.
