Revenge

I visited the Dental Hygienist this afternoon and when I got back I took it out on some trees and plants!
I don't think I've Blipped this corner of the garden before. Tall tree on the left is a Eucalyptus. I took 3 large branches from the bottom of that. To its right is a Buddleia. A big piece of that had to go.
Then there's a palm (Trachycarpus Fortunei ? -just Googled it) and some of the lower leaves were looking decidedly manky (horticultural term!) so they've disappeared.
Towards the back is the Mexican Pine. I removed several spindly branches from the base and trimmed down a thicker one to remove the weight but it's too large for my loppers so I've left the thick stump sticking out and sent a photo to the gardeners so they can remove it on their next visit. That pine tree is around 8 metres tall. When we moved here 8 years ago this September, we brought it in a pot and it was about one metre tall, so it has shot up.
Committee Meeting this evening for the Village Show where we discuss what went right and what went wrong so that we have it noted for next year's show.
