I walked to visit a friend who lives about two miles from me. It's still Oxford, but his long garden is part of a wood with, at the end, an alkaline marsh shared with the neighbours. OK, the rest of the greenery he looks over is a golf course, but there is not a building in sight. From his, I walked ¼ mile to the car park of one of Oxford's large hospitals. This bridge over the Lye was part of the route - about as different as can be from the nearby urban busyness where I live.
