One of the few positive outcomes of insomnia is being awake to witness dawn, so this morning I thought I’d make something of it. Having got a delivery errand out of the way far earlier than I imagined I ever would do I saw the tide was in so returned home via my old hunting ground of Leigh-on-Sea. I don’t like “messy” photos such as this but it catches the mood and moment well, I think.
