Pure Life

We got our windows cleaned today, a much needed task, but the weather in Chicago is 91° (33c). The two guys cleaning worked so efficiently and so hard - even in brutal conditions. Up and down ladders, taking out screens, quite a bit of work. In the midst of the job, I came out and offered them a cold bottle of “water”, you would’ve thought I handed them $1000 bill. A simple gesture, pumped life back into their day. Sometimes it’s just noticing others and a small act of kindness that can get somebody through a tough day.
