Bus Pass Walk

Backblip for Tuesday 22/7.  Bus caught to East Riddlesden Hall for first refreshments stop, then a walk along the canal (great reflections in the water today) to Five Rise Locks Cafe for lunch. Nice and warm so able to sit outside.  The hill down from the locks was hard on the painful knees, so a slow walk into Bingley where we met up with Corinthian and J at Bingley Arts Centre. We were there for the community cinema, and the film Maria. I like all kinds of music, but opera is not at the top of my list. However, I found the film compelling, sad and quite emotional. 3 & Go afterwards ended up with rather more than 3 after being joined by a doctor I knew from BRI, and then chatting to members of Harden Players who arrived at the pub to take part in the auditions for their next production.
