Archie relaxing
JR went off to just one gym session this morning. And I did some washing and unpacking, but didn’t put the suitcases away, as they’ll be used again in a few days.
Archie has been following me from room to room all morning, which is unusual. Then he went out with Elizabeth.
I happened to sit down with a cuppa and put the tv on. There followed almost an hour of a press conference in Trump’s Turnberry Hotel, and it was amazing. Trump would be asked a question, and he’d ramble on for ages, off subject, repeating himself - it was riveting viewing! Starmer had to sit there with a fixed smile grimace and chime in now and again.
The car went in for a service and MOT. And, amazingly enough, it didn’t need anything done. Still, it cost £330… rather expensive upkeep just to get to the supermarket once a week… its days are numbered…
When Archie came back, a bit earlier than usual, we popped round to see Mary, who was in hospital when we left, but is fine now. Her daughter is over for a visit from Australia, and today is our only free afternoon. We had a most pleasant couple of hours sitting out in the evening sun.
Well done the Lionesses!
