Cat Walk
An odd-ish day full of meetings, and catching up. Some colleagues had been on leave, and some are heading off for summer adventures for a day or a few weeks. Today once again was a very busy work-day!
Some plans are afoot for exploratory travels next year, which should be fun. I have also been chasing the airline as I booked some tickets a couple of weeks ago, and the trip hasn't been "ticketed" yet...!
Our lovely group meditation on Zoom on Mondays was as good as it always is, with various people at festivals, in gardens, and on the beach.
I didn't manage to get out early this morning for a walk, so I took a stroll after work instead. On the way out, I found a possibly already expired bumblebee, gave them some sugary water and flowers nearby and hoped for the best. Then for an evening meander, to find that all the neighbourhood cats were enjoying sunning themselves in the sinking light.
The main picture is a little fluffy friend who lives a few streets over, but who definitely had a favourite manhole-cover. And in the extras (ooh my first ever extra!) is the little orange cat from the next road over, who was hiding from a very noisy dog, in a small hole in the bush - but was also friendly and came over for a little pet, once the dog had gone away.
