AI 1 - Humans 0

Last week I blipped what I thought was a fungus growing on old grass clippings and debris from the garden.

I tried to identify it using an AI app and the first response was to say that it wasn't fungus at all, but a water lily leaf.  I quieted the response, and got an apology (!!) and a different answer.

But Ai was right, and I was wrong because today there are several more such leaves amongst the decaying grass, and I suddenly recalled dumping some of the debris from cleaning the pond in the same place several months ago.   They  have clearly grown through the mess.

Beaten by a machine - a salutary lesson.....!
