Bear!

An amazing part of our location is the variety of wildlife we get to live with! Today we finally spotted one of the juvenile bears that live in our area! This guy appears to be one of the cubs from last year and is likely 1.5 years old.

In our area, we have a mom that typically has 2 cubs each year, including this year, that hang out in the trees along our dog walking route. The cubs from previous years are around as well. All are very easy to live with, they just want to be left alone and have respectful distances kept. I didn’t have a great line of sight on this one and didn’t want to bother him but I am sure I’ll have more opportunities soon!
