Clearwell Caves

We headed down into the Forest of Dean this morning to go to the sculpture exhibition in the mines. It worked so well for most of them: set off by the dramatic environment and lighting; some well known ( to me) names Maggi Hambling/ Damien Hirst/ Antony Gormley etc but some unknowns. I’ve posted a collage ; (apologies if this offends you) but too hard to choose one of 70+.
Afterwards we went for a walk in the forestry land after being underground and cold!
