Should not have gone to Specsavers!

Overcast but dry here today. We've had the electrician in to sort the cooker and bathroom fans so I've been round and about this morning, doing some potting in the greenhouse and photos on the computer. 

Went to the hospital after lunch for my annual hearing aid check. I'm ashamed to say that I don't wear it, not being able to really get to grips with it, and every year I promise to wear it as I did today! Must do better!

I got home to find that Specsavers had phoned to say that my reading glasses, for which I need new lenses, had arrived. I walked down and tried them out on the usual reading panel of different sized text and found them much better for close-up work. 

I had a wander across to the North Pier afterwards and had to laugh at what is my Blip today. The bird might be considered a pelican in London, but here's it's merely a gull! 

Unfortunately when I arrived home I found that I could only work at the computer if the screen was 9" away or less!  So I had to ask MrsM to take me back down to Specsavers so they could swap the lenses back again! Back to Square One!
