Rock Me on the Water

After a morning thunderstorm, I decided to go up into the Scotia Barrens looking for newts. I did not find any red efts, but the water was dripping out of the trees, making some fine patterns out of overlapping concentric circles on the water surface on the vernal ponds. I made a number of abstract photos and a short video or two. It was pleasing to watch the show, but the bugs were quite bad. If you plan to go to the woods, you've been warned!
