Vimy Ridge

We found our Formula1 in Coquettes very easily after getting to Calais. We were all asleep fairly quickly. A text from my brother got us up and moving due to their imminent arrival in Calais! A fairly poor breakfast at Flunch (it was gone 10) and a quick dash around Auchan got us on the road.

We arrived at the Canadian Memorial at Vimy Ridge shortly after the others. This is somewhere we visited (more than once?) as children and I returned with MrRoly before children. It now feels like a bit of a tradition!

After lunch we continued onto Meaux for our night in a Kyriad near Disney. As it is also Sophia's birthday, we had a mini party at the hotel before a disastrous trip out to find food. MrRoly and I ended up with bread and cheese back at the hotel with 2 rather sheepish younger children! Earlier nights all round in preparation for Disney tomorrow!
