This was the first time I’d visited this year. Their tearoom is worth the visit on its own but I usually combine it with a walk along the banks of the River Irthing.

No coffee today though, I arrived at the worst possible time so the tearoom was just about full. I could have sat outside but there was a touch of rain in the air.

I still had my walk though and thoroughly enjoyed it. The erosion of the river bank gets worse with every visit, I think they will have to re-route the path if any more of it succumb to the elements.

Got back in time to watch The Lionesses become European Champions again. Spain played the more attractive football but failed to put away their chances.

I think the team with the bigger heart and the bigger will to win won!
