Uncle Stan's Gripe.

       Uncle Stan was Alice's Uncle and had stopped gardening about the time we met.  I can't, now (60 or so years later) remember if it was before or after we were married, but it got a LOT of use until it came to rest in the Storage Box.  I might try and improve its appearance somewhat.
       It's quite a bit heavier than the standard one.
I was brought up calling them Gripes - BUT - Look up Gripe and you'll not find it unless you prefix/suffix it by Lakeland Dialect; then you get:-
"Gripe/n Agricultural fork with sharp tines.  Like a garden fork but more vicious."
