A second lovely weekend day. I slept really well after our long and enjoyable day yesterday, so felt well rested when I got up. It was the usual Sunday swim, and L kindly took four of us in the car. Later on, she showed off her new nail varnish (shades of jellyfish apparently) in the water. It was a large group today. 10 or 11 swimmers. I'm not sure how many. A fun half hour in cooler water. Probably around 13 or 14 degrees. Not too cold to have bare hands. I prefer it with bare hands, so I can 'feel' the water. I saw some sort of flat fish as well as a crab in the shallows as I swam back to shore.
More garden tidying up through the afternoon. Mr A watered again, after washing down the front patio. It was a sunny, windy and cool afternoon, but good for sitting out. I made the same paneer curry that A made on Tuesday, with reasonable success on my part, I think. Possibly too many peas. There's enough for two meals so one half of the dish has been set aside for a later occasion.
We had yet another "test" mojito and this time I felt the test was successful. And then later we watched the England women successfully defend their European championship title. One of us was happier than the other about that.
