Golden rats

With youngest godson - recovering from A Levels - at RA summer exhibition. We enjoy noting what has sold & what hasn't. This piece, we thought, belonged in an oligarch's lair.

The caption suggests that the white rats are examining us, the gallery-goers, with polite curiosity as if we are their experimental subjects. Their little hands are folded, patiently.
