As I drove back from dinner at a friend’s house late last night MrsDB remarked at the glare from below the cliffs on the coast road. I pulled into a cliff car park (empty, apart from two cars parked together, the occupants having a picnic?). The sight over into the sea was spectacular, the foreshore ablaze with floodlights from the drilling rig we blipped on July 22nd.
