I was bit by mosquitos four times today! Three were while feeding the birds and watering the plants and one was while taking this picture. If I weren’t being attacked by multiple mosquitos I would have reduced the aperture.

Ukrainian drones wiped out one of Russia’s defense areas. They won’t be storming Ukraine positions from there tonight. 

Ukraine cleaned out its second village in the Sumy Oblast. 

Demand for Ukrainian barley is growing, esp from China and southern European countries. 

A Mariupol teen who lived in Russia for three years has been returned to Ukraine. She and her family fled Mariupol in 2022 and she secretly continued her education at a Ukrainian school online and learned the Ukrainian language. She is 18 now. Her parents were pero-Russian. On July 8 seven other children, 6-17 years old, were returned to Ukraine.
