These butterflies were resting on the edge of the local field.  There were several Speckled woods which looked in pristine condition and a single Meadow brown on stones and also a Comma which was too fast for a photo.  A Peacock caterpillar hurried by and a very hairy caterpillar which I think may be that of a White Ermine moth, quickly disappeared into the grass.
